- Abstract
The present paper presents an experimental stand used for the determination of the rheological properties of the lubricants. The principle of the stand is based on the squeeze film phenomenon, between two circular parallel surfaces. The results of the measurements are compared with those obtained using a Brookfield rheometer, equipped with a cone and plate geometry. Finally, the results are numerically treated with regression analysis method, in order to obtain the metrological validation of the stand.
