Chapter 4 of the book ``Encountering Ability:On the Relational Nature of (Human) `` is presented. It discusses impact of naturalization on political integration, including increase in formal political participation and efficacy. According to the article whiteness operates as dominant liberal norm and human generality. It also explores political conditions post-Enlightenment democracy in the United States.
