- Abstract
The article reports that the Labor Party has taken the authority to form the minority government after the August 21, 2010 Federal Election in Australia. It states that the Labor Party has signed a series of agreements with the Independent Party that documents the principles that will underpin their support and set out the government's commitment to parliamentary reform. Moreover, the agreements aim to enhance accountability in the House of Representatives.
