- Abstract
The focus of the current issue 3/2016 of GMS Medizin - Bibliothek -Information is on the annual conference 2016 of the German Medical Libraries Association in Göttingen. The motto of the conference was "Medical libraries today. Spaces in digital transformation". The authors in this issue are Ursula Arning, Birte Lindstädt & Jasmin Schmitz (PUBLISSO: an open access publication portal for life sciences), Ursula Arning & Robin Rothe (ZB MED - specialist for open access publishing in the life sciences), Andreas Bohne-Lang (Semantic metadata for a library website), Petra Burkert("Besuch&Buch": Graz Public Library and its home library service for senior and homebound citizens. A geronto-logical approach), Stefan Grosjean ("e-Day" in Bern: promoting e-re-sources through an all-day event), Dagmar Härter (The implementation of a parent-child area in the medical library of the SUB Göttingen), Christoph Poley (LIVIVO: new challenges for ZB MED's search portal for life sciences), Sergio Trevisan (Biblioteca Medica in Trento and the project "There is a child in the hospital ...
