- Abstract
The article presents a case study of uncommon barotrauma while on high-flow nasal cannula in 2-month-old infant admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). It states that the infant developed a right lung (RL) overinflation in the pediatric ward. The patient underwent high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy (HFNC), and selective intubation of the left main bronchus with manual recruitment and surfactant lavage were successful.
