- Abstract
The article discusses research done on the impact of protein phosphatase magnesium-dependent 1A-mediated inhibition of bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling on smad dephosphorylation. Procedures of the study included luciferase assays, immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis, and statistical analysis. Information on BMP and its ability to induce ectopic bone formation is also presented.
