- Abstract
The article describes the case of a three-year-old buffalo heifer with history of external trauma caused by a fot of adult buffalo and was diagnosed with mandibular fracture. The heifer was subjected to several procedures including sternal recumbency under xylazine sedation, irrigation of the oral cavity using potassium permanganate, and implantation of interdental wiring. Other cases of mandible fracture in other breeds are mentioned.
