- Abstract
The article discusses the reciprocity of search in relation to American patent law as of January 2013, focusing on the legal duties and obligations of commercial product makers and patentees in terms of potential patent infringement claims. Other topics include patent trolls, breach of duty claims, and analyses of reciprocity of search in cases involving real property and copyright. A notice requirement in Section 287 of the U.S. Patent Act is also examined, along with declaratory judgments.
