- Abstract
The article presents studies on nanotechnology. Shin-Hyun Kim and colleagues of KAIST have created microspheres that can act as flexible superhydrophobic interface. Ondrej Krivanek and co-workers of Nion have demonstrated the annular dark-field electron microscopy which is capable of identifying light atoms. Maoquan Chu and colleagues of Tongji University and Shanghai Jiaotong University have shown that quantum dots can penetrate the placental barrier in mice and can be transferred to the fetus.
