- Abstract
The article focuses on the concept of procedural legitimacy to maintain the legitimacy of the adjudicative system and its outcomes which determines appropriate way of using scientific evidence. It highlights increased reliance on scientific evidence in legitimacy and legitimate interaction between science and law. It recommends for treatment of scientific evidence based on the Goudge Inquiry Report which demands for procedural legitimacy to use science for truth-seeking enterprise.
