The article presents information on a study related to the effect of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) on cardiovascular events in recently postmenopausal women. It informs that the study was conducted for 10 years and the trials were stopped due to safety concerns. It further informs that the HRT reduced a composite of death in recently menopausal women.
