- Abstract
The article discusses issues on jury selection process in the U.S. and how to prevent bias against queer jurors. Also cited are the call for expansion of the ruling in the case Batson v. Kentucky to protect queer jurors, the constitutional and historical basis of the peremptory challenge, the issue of racial disparities in juries, and how sexuality and gender identities complicate implicit bias and stereotyping.
