- Abstract
In the article "Hydrophobic Coating Platforms for High-Efficiency Loading and Direct Transmembrane Delivery of Fat-Soluble Osteogenic Drug for Enhanced Osseointegration of Titanium Implants," Liang Kong, Guocheng Wang, Fuwei Liu, and their colleagues discuss the design and construction of a coating platform that allows for the efficient loading and direct delivery of fat-soluble drugs. This platform improves drug utilization efficiency by delivering lipophilic drugs directly to cells in contact with the coating. The authors suggest that this approach could be a new method for surface drug loading of lipophilic drugs.
