- Abstract
The airtightness of warehouses is crucial for grain storage, which is related to changes in grain quality and storage costs. In response to the poor airtightness of building warehouses designed for packaging warehouses, a comprehensive airtightness renovation was conducted on the walls and floors of packaging warehouses. After conducting a comparative analysis of the pressure half-life before and after the renovation of the test warehouse, the test results showed that the airtightness of the empty warehouse in the building warehouse has been greatly improved after the renovation. The half-life time of the three pressure tests exceeded 15 minutes, with the highest reaching over 21 minutes. The airtightness level is far higher than the standard of the first level airtightness level (pressure half-life t ≥ 5 minutes) for the controlled grain storage, providing good warehouse conditions for the next step of nitrogen filled and controlled grain storage technology application, It also provides a reference for the airtightness and insulation renovation of old warehouses.
