- Abstract
The article presents a study on the in vitro effects of aldrin on alkaline and acid phosphatase activity on the tissues of Metapenaeus monoceros prawns. The article uses various methods such as providing an oil cake powder diet on the selected prawn tissues, and dissolving the technical grade aldrin on 2-milliliter acetone. Results show the inhibition of acid phosphate (ACPase) and alkaline phosphatase (ALPase) on the tissues of prawns, and the inhibition of ALPase on the stomach.
