- Abstract
The article presents a study on the uptake and distribution of mercury (203Hg) by fish fingerlings Cirrhina mrigala in presence as well as absence of detergent to examine any combined effects. The study used linear alkyl benzene sulphonate (LAS) from Indian Petrochemicals Ltd. The results revealed that the presence of detergent improved the uptake of 203Hg in the order gill, liver, brain, muscle.
