- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the effect of occupation exposure of steel mill workers' hair in iron (Fe), zinc (Zn) and copper (Cu) in Karachi, Pakistan. The study used hair samples from healthy workers and sex-matched control Pakistani men in the city to compare metals' nutrition and hair contamination. Results show the necessity of monitoring workers against the potential toxic levels of metals.
