- Abstract
In order to solve the problem of feature loss when mold modeling is compatible with NC programming, an integrated analysis method of free-form surface modeling, structural parametric design, cavity mold process design and NC simulation processing for beverage bottle mold was proposed with the help of UG software to determine the reasonable process route, set the process parameters of rough and finish machining and edge and corner optimization of the cavity mold, plan the tool path, and automatically generate the NC codes.The practice proves that the integrated analysis method of hollow blow mold design and NC simulation processing based on UG shortens the development cycle of beverage bottles, ensures the product quality of beverage bottles, and provides a reference for the mold production process of the like plastic products.
