- Abstract
The paper deals with wireless magnetostrictive linear motor based on impact drive mechanism. Fe-Ga alloy was taken as the sensing element. The working principle was introduced from the perspective of kinematics. To study the kinetic properties, the 3D finite element dynamic coupling model based on JA nonlinear hysteresis model was built. To simulate the actual friction force, the dynamic simulation of the motor was realized by the finite element method. The simulation results showed that the proposed motor could realize the unidirectional stepping motion well, under the action of the saw tooth wave current. The prototype of motor was machined and the experiment was conducted based on the dSpace control system. Compare the experimental results with the simulation results, it showed that the measured displacement curve had a good match with the simulated displacement curve, the proposed motor could make bi-directional linear movement.
