- Abstract
According to the principle of energy conversion, a novel model used for energy conversion from low frequency linear micro-vibration kinetic energy to power was designed. Using the finite element method, the no-load induced electromotive force amplitude of the conversion model was optimized by changing the structure and size of the energy converter component. The final optimal sizes of the converter are Φ16 x 90 mm. Meanwhile, the performance of the model with optimal size was tested by virtual instrument technology. From the available experimental and simulation results, the system natural frequency is 11 Hz, and the maximum no-load inducted electromotive force is 2.4 V.
