- Abstract
With the advantages of wide bandwidth,high carrier frequency and rich transmission resources, 5G based passive bistatic radar(PBR) has broad application prospects in the field of low altitude target detection in cities or suburbs. However,the deterministic signals such as synchronization and control signal lead to many sub-peaks within 5G ambiguity function,which seriously limits the detection performance of 5G PBR. For above problems,the authors analyze the characteristics of the 5G signal ambiguity function and the generation mechanism of sub-peaks,and then propose a mismatch filtering method to suppress the sub-peak of 5G ambiguity function according to the recognition of sub-peaks. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method can suppress the range and frequency-domain sub-peaks, thus effectively reducing the false alarm and missing detection probability generated by the sub-peaks in the target detection process of 5G PBR.
