- Abstract
The author reflects on chemical chaperone therapy, a strategy for treating genetic skin fragility disorders. Topics include its usefulness in the management of a group of human cutaneous genetic and neurologic disorders, potential of chemical chaperone as a therapeutic option for epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS), and pretreatment of keratin-14 mutant EBS keratinocytes with chemical chaperones.
