- Abstract
The objective of the research was to evaluate the composition and in vitro ruminal degradability of dry matter, organic matter, inorganic matter and crude protein. of the ensilajes of grass saboya with the treatments T1: grass saboya 90%+ passion fruit peel 10%; T2: grass saboya 80%+ passion fruit peel 20%; T3: grass saboya 70%+ passion fruit peel 30% and T4: grass saboya 60%+ passion fruit peel 40%, it was used the microensilaje (Micro- silage PVC of 3 provided kg of capacity of a valve bunsen and mechanism of efluentes extraction) method and the degradation technique in vitro with the incubation system DAISY II, using the liquid ruminal of bovine brahman of 500±25 kg of weight average. A Design was applied Totally at random with (DCA) six repetitions. The inclusion level of passion fruit improved the content of nutrients in the silage, increasing organic matter, crude protein and crude fat and decreasing fiber fractions. The degradability of the dry matter, organic matter and inorganic matter was higher (p <0.05) with the inclusion of the byproduct (T4), was directly proportional in the kinetics of degradation with respect to the incubation time in the majority of fractions, favoring the Composition and degradation of silage grass silage.
