- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the relationship between transvaginal sonography (TVS) findings and the depth of trophoblastic invasion into the tubal wall in women with ampullary pregnancy. The study was performed exclusively on women with a TVS finding of either an embryo with cardiac activity or a tubal ring. The study reveals the significant association of the TVS findings of an embryo with cardiac activity with the depth of trophoblastic invasion into the tubal wall.
