- Abstract
The article presents a study which describes the clinical and sonographic characteristics of struma ovarii, an ovarian teratoma in women. From the databases of five participating ultrasound centers, authors of the study identified 31 patients with a histological diagnosis of struma ovarii. It was found that sonographic features of struma ovarii vary, and that it may be suspected when multilocular-solid adrenexal mass containing one or more struma pearl is seen.
