- Abstract
The author reflects on the role of ultrasound biometry in determining fetal biometry. The author considers several factors that have a profound influence on fetal growth. He also pointed that although such discussion led to the development of computerized customized antental growth charts, which may be applied to estimated fetal weight, a much larger databases of ultrasound biometry in multi-ethnic population are required to develop individually adjusted reference standards for fetal biometry.
