The article focuses on zero tolerance policies employed in schools in the U.S. for safety of students and reconsiders its utility in schools. Topics discussed include making students disciplined by employing zero tolerance polices; determination of approaches taken by educators to make schools safer; and argument about policy applications its impact on students by the American Psychological Association; and argument on policy's purpose by the National Association of School Psychologists.
