- Abstract
The article presents information on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the U.S. which is collaborating with the state departments of 22 states of the country. It informs that the collaboration is done for investigating the outbreak of human Salmonella I 4,[5],12:i infections associated with rodents sold as food for the pets. It further informs that the owners of the reptiles and amphibians should be aware of the risk of this virus.
