- Abstract
The article reports on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) approval of expanded age indication for Boostrix, a vaccine against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis licensed for persons aged 10 through 64 years, to include persons aged 65 years and older. The indications and guidance released by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices for the use of Boostrix in adolescents and adults are discussed.
