- Abstract
The article focuses on the telephone call made by the author to Vyacheslav Bakhmin, a member of the dissident group Working Commission to Investigate the Use of Psychiatry for Political Purposes in Moscow, Russia to find out more about the fate of his friend and fellow Commission member Aleksandr Podrabinek, who had been sentenced to three years of camp for slandering the Soviet State. The Podrabinek Fund was established for the release of the prisoner.
