- Abstract
Profoundly influenced by the literary tradition of the May 4h Movement, Ding Ling, after the transformation of collectivistic writing style of the left-wing literature, experienced another hard transmutation of her creative mentality during the Yan'an period. Talks at the Yan'an Forum on literature and art acted as a mark of her transferring from the state of dissociation to that of determinedness. Researches on her creative mentality can be used as a case study to examine he regulations of the literary system in the Yan'an period and writers' self-salvation.
