- Abstract
The article discusses how at 2016 Hansard Association of Canada2 conference in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, a panel dialogue suggested that Ms. was the most popular title for women parliamentarians in Canada. Topics discussed include 250-year-old gravestone of Sarah Spooner from Massachusetts which may more so highlight the term's brevity for "a stonecutter trying to save space, women in house of Commons who preferred traditional title of Mrs. and popularity of title miss.
