- Abstract
The article discusses results of a study that evaluates the synthesized methacrylate monomer, trimethylolpropane mono allyl ether dimethacrylate (TMPEDMA). The formulation of the dental adhesives incorporated into the TMPEDMA is described. The study showed a decrease in the net cumulative MMA release in adhesives with exposure of photopolymerized discs to porcine liver esterase. It concludes that adhesives made with new monomer and cured in water have more resistance against esterase.
