- Abstract
The article reports on the synthesis of poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives using the Gilch route in an effort to improve the photovoltaic and photoluminescence of the dendronized PPV homopolymer. The authors report that the electroluminescence efficiency and power conversion efficiency of some derivatives were higher than others. They reveal that ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy and electrochemical cyclic voltammetry were used to analyze the properties of the copolymers.
