- Title
Die geliehene Zeit eines Königs. Der »arme« Ruprecht und die Reichsfinanzen (1400–1410).

- Abstract
Unlike predecessors such as Emperor Charles IV, Rupert also had no qualms in accepting credit from Jewish sources. The first chapter offers an overview of imperial finances in the fifteenth century, underlining how far less is known of Rupert's economic management than that of his successors, notably Emperors Sigismund of Luxemburg and Frederick III. Given the painstaking work Fouquet has undertaken in reconstructing Rupert's financial operations and apparatus, there was perhaps room for more impactful analysis and comparative discussion here.
