- Abstract
The article discusses North Carolina's Court of Appeals case Harper v. Harper in which pre-separation custody and child support claims of wife were dismissed by the court. It presents information on concerning issues of the court's decision in the Baumann case in which protecting orders for the interests of children were entered by the trial court against the rights of parents. It also discusses the implications and application of Baumann case for the practitioners of North Carolina.
