Analyzes the pathological findings in the case of an asymptomatic woman with an abnormal papanicolaou test. Results of the papanicolaou test; Performance of a cold knife cone biopsy; Groups of haphazardly oriented nests of basaloid cells infiltrating the cervical stroma with overlying high-grade squamous dysplasia; Gross examination of the radical hysterectomy specimen, revealing no distinct mass or abnormality; Pathologic diagnosis of adenoid basal of the cervix.
