- Abstract
The article reports on Fluzone High-Dose, an injectable inactivated trivalent influenza vaccine manufactured by Sanofi-Pasteur, that has been licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). According to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the drug may be used for persons aged 65 years and above. Also, it was indicated that the drug may not be given to anyone with a known hypersensitivity to egg proteins or influenza vaccine.
