- Authors
Rohrman, Douglass F.
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on biases in environmental policies and laws in the U.S. The author says that various social-welfare groups have been protesting against this issue such as the establishment of a document by the First National People of Color Environmental Leadership Summit in 1991, which defines the foundation of environmental justice movement. He notes that the United Church of Christ doubted the North Carolina's action towards a landfill containing contaminated soil.
