- Abstract
The article discusses the challenge in discovering and strengthening the male head voice in the developmental choral classroom. Topics include the importance of a flexible and fluid head voice as an element of chorus as the ability of basses and tenors are increased, the awareness of some male singers on the use of falsetto, and the development of male and female voices' registers. Moreover, the need for a conductor to understand the physiology of male and female voices is mentioned.
