- Abstract
This article, titled "The Effect of Different Water Treatments on the Rooting of African Violet Leaves," explores the impact of different water treatments on the rooting of African violet leaves. The study compares three water types: tap water, distilled water, and fertilizer water. The results show that rooting African violet leaves in fertilizer water is more successful than using distilled water, while tap water was not successful in producing roots. The experiment suggests that nutrients from fertilizer assist in root development and plantlet growth. The article also briefly mentions the semi-hydroponic method of growing African violets, which involves using a coarse vermiculite medium.
