- Authors
DENNING, BRANNON P.; SMITH, BROOKS R.
- Abstract
The article discusses the proposal and rationale behind the truth-in-legislation amendment (TILA) in the U.S. involving professor Michael Gilbert of the University of Virginia School of Law. It notes that to invalidate the entire legislation is to violate the remedy for violating a single-subject or title provision. It is stated that incorporating the TILA into the U.S. Consitution is helpful for the lawmakers and citizens when the Congress missed the standards.
