- Abstract
The article discusses the quartet of sonnets "By Way of Remembrance," by Christina Rossetti, which appeared in the posthumous publication "New Poems" of 1986. Particular focus is given to the personal experiences and feelings that are highlighted in Rossetti's work, Rossetti's views on femininity and "feminine work," and her relationship with her brother, Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
