- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of Alfred Tennyson's poem "Ulysses," discussing the poet's treatment of space and time within the narrative. Details are given noting Tennyson's thematic fascination with the concepts of infinitely large and infinitely small distances and outlines its depiction within the structure and devices of the poem. Additional reflections are given to the influence of Zeno's paradoxes within the conceptual scope of the work.
