- Abstract
This article discusses the role that both male and female athletes have played in the development of Canadian sports. Featured sections of the article include the achievements of Vancouver's senior women's basketball teams, league sponsorships, the Declaration of National Champions, basketball dynasties and conditions for success. The article stresses the importance of researching the results of the influence of sports, sports history, and the philosophy of athletics in the United States.
