- Abstract
The effectiveness of Excel in calculating Number of Voltage Sags as a Function of Critical Voltage for N outgoing feeders (radial system) is demonstrated. Nine examples are presented in the present study, where each example has different number of SAG(s). Each case is plotted on the same curve, which shows the variation of each case. As a compilation of the nine cases are shown in the last sheet of the Excel sheets. The Excel sheets as a total are 10 sheets, the tenth sheet is the compiled sheet for the nine examples. The study shows a high accuracy and time saving for engineering undergraduate students. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
