- Abstract
A reliability test platform based on LabVIEW software is developed for the key functional components of machine tools such as chain tool magazine. The functions of virtual simulation of tool change process of chain tool magazine and reliability test by simulating real working conditions are realized. The hardware part of the test platform adopts the traditional PLC control method, and its virtual simulation control software part includes modules such as real-time communication, tool change control, operation monitoring, data statistics, etc., which can simulate two tool change modes: point to point tool change and automatic tool change. The experimental case is co-simulated and tested by S7-PLCSIM software and Portal TIAPortal software. The verification results show that the designed and developed chain tool magazine reliability test platform can realize the expected virtual simulation and hardware control functions.
