- Abstract
The article presents a study on the distribution of imidacloprid in soil following subsurface drip chemigation. Pesticide used by growers has been increasingly scrutinized for contributions to contamination of surface and ground water. Best management practices have been well studied for allaying surface transport in humid regions, but field practices for managing leaching have been less developed. To improve efficiency of water use, growers in semi-arid regions are increasingly using surface and subsurface drip irrigation.
