- Abstract
The article discusses the endangered North Pacific right whales that can be found in Russian waters in 2003-2014. The species also known as Eubalaena japonica is considered as one of the most endangered baleen whale species in the world. A number of cetacean surveys conducted by a group of Japanese in the North Pacific and Sea of Okhotsk, providing the sightings of North Pacific right whales is also tackled.
