- Abstract
This research; This study was conducted to examine the effects of school administrators' conflict management styles on teachers' job satisfaction. In line with the purpose, a questionnaire consisting of a personal information form, a conflict management style scale and a job satisfaction scale; It was applied to 264 teachers working in schools in the city center of Muğla in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data obtained from the questionnaires were evaluated in computer environment by means of SPSS 22.0 statistical program. As a result of the research, it was determined that school administrators were able to manage conflicts at a moderate level and they preferred to resolve conflicts mostly by integrating and least by dominating style. In the study, it was determined that teachers' job satisfaction was at a high level. It was concluded that school administrators' resolution of conflicts with integrating, compromising and avoidance conflict management styles did not affect teachers' job satisfaction, while resolving conflicts through domination decreased teachers' job satisfaction, and resolving conflicts through compromise increased teachers' job satisfaction.
